“Whoever prayed at night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 2008]

“Whoever performs twelve Rak’ah (of Sunnah) during the day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise.” [Ibn Majah 1141]


“The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was sent down, a guidance for mankind, clear proofs for the guidance, the Criterion.” [2:185]

“[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the likes of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” [Tirmidhi 2910]

A man heard another man reciting (Surat Al-Ikhlas) ‘Say He is Allah, (the) One…’ repeatedly. The next morning he came to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and informed him about it as if he thought that it was not enough to recite. On that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, this Surah is equal to one-third of the Qur’an!” [Sahih al-Bukhari 5013]


“He who observed the Isha’ prayer in congregation, it was as if he prayed up to midnight, and he who prayed the morning prayer in congregation, it was as if he prayed the whole night.” [Sahih Muslim 656 a]


“And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.” [2:186]


“A Tasbihah in Ramadan is better than a thousand Tasbihah in other that it.” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3472]


“Ibn ‘Abbas reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was the most generous of people in charity, but he was generous to the utmost in the month of Ramadan…” [Sahih Muslim 2308 a]

“He who provides a fasting person something with which to break his fast, will earn the same reward as the one who was observing the fast, without diminishing in any way the reward of the latter.” [Tirmidhi 275]


“Let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” [24:22]

Control Emotions

“Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who control anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good.” [3:134]

“Fasting is a shield; when one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor foolishly. If a man fights or abuses him, he should say: ‘I am fasting, I am fasting.’” [Sunan Abi Dawud 2363]

Control Tongue

“Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 6057]
